Domestic Violence
The charge of domestic violence is classified as a crime between persons that share the same residence, have a child in common, or otherwise between persons with a close relationship where allegations of violence arise.
There are various crimes that can occur domestically and the penalties can range from a crime classified as a misdemeanor of a felony in the state of Florida.

It is important to note that domestic violence crimes will usually trigger the Court imposing stay away order for the protection of the alleged victim while the accused is awaiting the resolution of his/her case.
